Quick Troubleshooting
Check these common charging issues before contacting support. If the red fault light is flashing, count the number of flashes and refer to the Error Code Guide below.
Charger does not start charging +
Make sure the charger is connected to a suitable power outlet and that the charging connector is fully inserted into the vehicle.
- Unplug and reconnect the charging connector.
- Make sure the wall outlet is supplying power.
- Try another suitable outlet if available.
- Check whether the charger shows a red flashing fault light.
Red fault light is flashing +
A flashing red light indicates that the charger has detected a fault.
- Count the number of red-light flashes.
- 1 to 8 flashes indicate different fault conditions.
- Refer to the Error Code Guide below for the corresponding fault.
Charging starts but stops unexpectedly +
Charging may stop if the charger or vehicle becomes too hot, or if the charger detects an abnormal operating condition.
- Stop charging and allow the charger and vehicle to cool down.
- Check whether a red fault light is flashing.
- Reconnect the charger after the equipment has cooled.
Charging speed is slower than expected +
Actual charging current may be limited by the vehicle, temperature conditions, or the selected charging current.
- Check the charging-current setting on the vehicle.
- Check the selected current on the charger.
- Make sure the charger and vehicle are not overheating.
Charging current cannot reach the selected amperage +
The vehicle may have its own charging-current limit, which can prevent the charger from reaching the selected amperage.
- Check the charging settings in your vehicle.
- Remove or increase the vehicle-side current limit if appropriate.
- Confirm that the selected charging current matches the power source.
Ground fault or grounding problem +
The charger requires a properly grounded power outlet.
- Make sure the outlet is properly grounded.
- Do not continue charging if a ground fault is detected.
- Try another properly grounded outlet if available.
Charger or vehicle becomes unusually hot +
The charger includes temperature protection and may reduce charging power or stop charging if excessive heat is detected.
- Stop charging if the charger or vehicle becomes unusually hot.
- Allow the equipment to cool before charging again.
- Check the plug and outlet for abnormal heat or visible damage.
Delayed charging does not start immediately +
If scheduled charging is enabled, charging will begin only after the selected delay time has elapsed.
- Check the delay time shown on the charger display.
- Each timer-button press increases the delay by 1 hour.
- The maximum scheduled delay is 12 hours.
Red Light Fault Guide
If the charger shows a flashing red fault light, count the number of flashes and check the corresponding fault below.
1× Overvoltage +
Indicator: Red light flashes once.
What it means: The input voltage is too high.
What to do: Stop charging, unplug the charger, and check that the power supply voltage is suitable before reconnecting.
2× Undervoltage +
Indicator: Red light flashes twice.
What it means: The input voltage is too low.
What to do: Unplug the charger, check the power supply, and try another suitable outlet if available.
3× Overcurrent +
Indicator: Red light flashes three times.
What it means: The charger detected excessive output current.
What to do: Stop charging, disconnect the charger from power, then reconnect it after checking the charging setup.
4× Ground Fault +
Indicator: Red light flashes four times.
What it means: The charger detected a grounding problem.
What to do: Make sure the charger is connected to a properly grounded outlet. Do not continue charging if the fault remains.
5× Leakage Current +
Indicator: Red light flashes five times.
What it means: The charger detected electrical leakage.
What to do: Stop charging immediately, unplug the charger, and do not continue use until the power source and charging equipment have been checked.
6× CP Fault +
Indicator: Red light flashes six times.
What it means: The charger detected a CP fault.
What to do: Disconnect and reconnect the charging connector. If the fault remains, stop using the charger and contact support.
7× Overtemperature +
Indicator: Red light flashes seven times.
What it means: The charger detected excessive temperature.
What to do: Stop charging and allow the charger to cool completely before reconnecting.
8× Relay Fault +
Indicator: Red light flashes eight times.
What it means: The charger detected a relay fault.
