Quick Troubleshooting
Check these common charging issues before contacting support. If the charger displays an error code, refer to the Fault Code Guide below.
Charger does not start charging +
Make sure the charger is connected to a suitable power outlet and that the charging connector is fully inserted into the vehicle.
- Unplug and reconnect the charging connector.
- Make sure the wall outlet is supplying power.
- Try another suitable outlet if available.
- Check whether the charger display shows an error code.
- If an error code appears, refer to the Fault Code Guide below.
Charger displays an error code +
When the charger detects a fault, an error code may appear on the display.
- Check the error code shown on the charger display.
- Error codes E1–E10 indicate different fault conditions.
- Refer to the Fault Code Guide below for the corresponding fault and recommended action.
Charging starts but stops unexpectedly +
Charging may stop if the charger or vehicle becomes too hot, or if the charger detects an abnormal operating condition.
- Stop charging and allow the charger and vehicle to cool down.
- Check whether the charger display shows an error code.
- If an error code appears, refer to the Fault Code Guide below.
- Reconnect the charger after the equipment has cooled down.
Charging speed is slower than expected +
Actual charging current may be limited by the vehicle, temperature conditions, or the selected charging current.
- Check the charging-current setting on the vehicle.
- Check the selected current on the charger.
- Make sure the charger and vehicle are not overheating.
Charging current cannot reach the selected amperage +
The vehicle may have its own charging-current limit, which can prevent the charger from reaching the selected amperage.
- Check the charging settings in your vehicle.
- Remove or increase the vehicle-side current limit if appropriate.
- Confirm that the selected charging current matches the power source.
Ground fault or grounding problem +
The charger requires a properly grounded power outlet.
- Make sure the outlet is properly grounded.
- Do not continue charging if a ground fault is detected.
- Try another properly grounded outlet if available.
Charger or vehicle becomes unusually hot +
The charger includes temperature protection and may reduce charging power or stop charging if excessive heat is detected.
- Stop charging if the charger or vehicle becomes unusually hot.
- Allow the equipment to cool before charging again.
- Check the plug and outlet for abnormal heat or visible damage.
Delayed charging does not start immediately +
If scheduled charging is enabled, charging will begin only after the selected delay time has elapsed.
- Check the delay time shown on the charger display.
- Each timer-button press increases the delay by 1 hour.
- The maximum scheduled delay is 12 hours.
